I really didn’t expect this to hit Sphinn, but the BING FAIL on the tragedy of Michael’s death is fairly relevant to SEO ... especially News Search SEO, as it took Microsoft’s BING over TWO HOURS to serve updated news stories on the death of MJ ABOVE THE FOLD ... beforehand, they were still serving sites that sell MJ concert tickets, while the rest of the world was covering the sad sad news. A big FAIL for Bing, a bigger loss for all of us who grew up listening to Thriller.

I’ve been experiencing problems with MSN and Robots.txt for over a year. Especially with them indexing and serving affiliate or ad tracking URLs in the SERPS. Usually if you contact them, they can work on it with you, but this is an issue which really needs to be taken care of.
