Sorry, this is a little off topic but...It does amuse me that Microsoft is not included!Silverlight v Flash?Adobe is so dominent with 98% of the world’s computers already have flash player installed. Why has Microsoft even attempted to compete? Have they not learnt with their attempt to take on Google as the number one search engine?

Was it just me - When the new "flavor" of Google trends was officially announced on Googles blog, it didn’t work? It seems fine now, but for the first 24 hours, I just kept receiving an error message??

I’d say yes! It is evil and a somewhat temporary solution to benefitting from high rankings. Sometimes it may take a while, but Google always cleans up in the end...
