He is correct, you need to survey your customers and KNOW what they want...

Excellent. I see this all the time. Wasn’t there talk about an “authority” at some point, where the article can say it is the first, and hence be but in the top on the serps?

That email is amazing... It is so blatant. Where there is power, it will be abused..

The SEO Fairly, I love that...Its funny, most of the employers in the world have really only owned their own business by being able to get things done. And, of course having the ability to make others get things done for them. But, when it comes to websites and SEO, they dont have that power. They cant just say "you cant change anything, make me number 1". Thats not a valid option, and they cant handle it.These are the types of clients I refuse to accept.~ Jim

I guess everyone seems to forget that they once were a "newbie" and needed info like this. Why does everyone always complain about lists like this. There are new people always wanting to learn what you "SEO Experts" know and hope that you would be willing to help. Thanks for the list,

I think we need to have 2 ways to browse the internet. Most of us already do. I boot up into Ubuntu and have it setup for full anonymity, when I want to research parts of the net that I know people are trying to get my information. When I am doing standard research, and really want Google and others to "remember" me, then I just use Windows.I think computers now need a setting, like a noindex, nofollow, so that there is a way for people to not be monitored. But, anything public, should be public. Thats why we have news. Whether or not the news should be removed, I think that is a case by case issue. I mean, if Google caught a naked picture of my in my living room and put that on the net, it should be removed (that didnt happen, by the way), but if is just your face, whats the big deal.my 2cHey Sphinn (Just noticed that your Spell Checker doesnt recognize Google as a word!)

I would definitely get a link on any front page just for traffic. I have a client who just added his webpage link in an article on wikipedia and now get 20 plus clicks a day from the article.

I agree with debram, Michaels tool is great. However, it is limited. I emailed him and he explained to me that if there are no bad problem from the links on your front page, it will stop looking. He also told me that he may bring out a version that you pay for that has more ability. When it comes out, I will get it.~ Jim

Great idea by <h3 class="comment_title">g1smd</h3>Addind PHP code to check the domain name and writing a noindex tag to the page. A nice easy fix I think.

I wonder if the Google user account can be merged with the Digg for users that already have an account on each site. Or, if any GMail user can already have a Digg account.I think merging these types of accounts together would be great. I truly like the fact that I can login to my Google Toolbar and then all the Google web pages login me it, and I would like it if when I went to Digg, it would use my current GMail account.~ Jim
