I agree with crimsongirl.  Many people seem to be forgetting Bing is mostly a repackaged and polished amalgamation of Live and MSN search engines.  Like many on Sphinn, I’ve been fiddling with Bing off and on since it went live, but apart from some snazzy Web site preview features and a beautiful homepage, I fail to see the revolutionary changes the $80 million to $100 million marketing campaign is touting. It would be great for the search engine and online ad revenue market plaes for Bing to grow and compete with Google, but Bing hasn’t held on to it’s 1 day jump in the market share.  I’m keeping my fingers crossed too, but I’m not holding my breath.

That sounds like an interesting development. We use a rough custom PHP script on our site to pull in the latest Tweets, but it’s a mere temporary band-aid.  It sounds like what you’re working on could be exactly what we’re looking for. Keep us updated when you get the Twitter Blidget going!

@buzzybeemarketingTwitter seems best used these days to simply keep an eye on your respective industry and/or company.  If you can follow what customers are saying about the industry, you may be able to tweak your marketing approach and snag some new clients!Being able to address people directly on Twitter helps too as you can work directly with them to solve their inquiries.

You make some great points in your post Jesper.  I think Google already makes an effort to sort out obvious junk releases for competitive keywords.  In my post, I wanted to stress that it’s important to have something worthwhile to talk about.  Like I said, promoting just for promotion’s sake won’t get you very far.Your tactics for releasing a social press release are spot on.  It’s very important to have the multiple blogs, the social media accounts and the content.  The catch is always writing something worth saying.Thank your for your comment! :-)

Great post - I was going to write something about Google hypocrisy and their guidelines, but this is perfect!
