Story: 4 Blogging Laws I DoFollow
I have to add in "Not to write when you are angry or upset". This can come back and kick you in the butt because you tend to write on your emotions towards an individual, company, product etc. The next day you think back and ask yourself, why did I write that?
If you don't like them, don't read them. Really it is as easy as that. Some of the articles may be good and talk about the writers experience with blogrush. The blogrush articles get sphunn by others for whatever reason does not mean you have to like the article, it also does not mean the article should be filtered as spam and removed. That does not make it spam by any means. Yes there have been a lot of talk about blogrush lately, I think that is what they wanted to happen. Just because you are sick of seeing articles about it does not give anyone the right to label it as spam. The topic of filtering out all blogrush posts is beyond stupid, this site was made for internet marketers to get together and share news and information. I know it’s the weekend, maybe you had a long week or a bad week, whatever the case may be you wanting to implement a spam filter for "blogrush" is just crazy. I am hoping the reason why this has received so many sphinns is due to the fact of people are tired of seeing blogrush posts, and not the fact that Jill Whalen wants to see a filter be put in place...unreal.

Do no forget about the "fly by night" marketers as well, who are doing business one day and gone with your money the next.
Steve
Damn I didn't notice that before posting, removing the bloglog code now. Thanks for the heads up. There is one answer in my post itself, but thats ok.
Steve
lol not at all Andy. Yes I agree this was an easy quiz for most who will take the time to read it. For others it was just a way to show them that your logo alone can be a powerful marketing tool. Thanks again for taking the time to check it out.
Steve
Why is that Tim? I do not agree with using this technique, I just wrote about what was stated and gave my opinion on the matter.
Everyone thinks that BOTW has been around for so long, when in fact the directory itself has only been around since 2003. Before the website was bought, it was a website that handed out awards and that was it. So keep that in mind when you see people write about "one of the oldest directories on the web".
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.botw.org
Check out April 10, 2003 and then April 20, 2003. The domain name does go back to 1996, but the directory has only been there for 4 years.
Last week was slow due to the SES in San Jose, I am sure this week you will see Sphinn more active.
Steve
Many people create and use social profiles not affiliated with there real name or company. All the anti's on the sites would tear you apart while trying to promote your clients. Andy I figured you would assume the same and know they would not use there real SU names.
Steve
So coming here for my poker help isn't the right place? Damn I must have taken the wrong door.
Steve
Becoming known in any industry takes time, writing good articles and participation among your peers will get your name out there in due time. I don't think by abusing the sphinn system will have any good come out of it. I would only sphinn an article a day, maybe two if they are real good. Always check to see if something similar is not already been posted.
Steve
Yes I also had seen what Jay did and in my opinion that is nuts! I just hope he doesn't regret doing it later on in life. One hell of a permanent link though.
Steve
Jill has been in the industry long enough to probably write her own book. He has a good teacher to learn from, just remember Jesse this industry changes and adapts a lot, you need to be able to do the same. Digital Point, WebproWorld and also the High Rankings forum will contain a huge amount of information for you read through and learn in your spare time. Welcome to the community and I wish you the best of luck.
Steve
I should have titled it "richer" actually and I linked to Jeremy's story in the article.
Thank you Donna for looking out after me, however some of them are actual directories so that should keep Rand away for the moment. :) Thank you for that link toprank, I shall look at those as well.
Sorry to say Mark but that list is not the same as what I had posted. You might want to check some of the links listed on both posts and confirm before you say that the content was originally posted anywhere. The list I compiled and tested to be working I got from several places, not just one.
