If you can't do your job give the money back.
SEOs promise anything nowadays. And they should put their money where their mouth is.
In a world where any noob's a seo, they should pay for incompetence. It's damn easy to talk the talk but can you walk the walk?
PS: I like the poll results. Seems like legit SEO business owners have risen against the incompetents... or someone's playing with it!
My entire site is dynamic and I can change URL structure easily. Yes I had a sitemap, an XML sitemap and 301 redirects will live forever :)
And this is the first time they started to change is the 25th. Untill now I had the old paths wil nothing on them and no cache. No title, no desc and missing cache.
But now a large part of the old URLs vanished and it's the first time I see a new URL except homepage in their index.
It must be a good sign... :)
PS: Old URLs did not bring any traffic as they were blanks and I don't think they featured in any search. They were 301ed hence empty as HTML entities and they kept the addresses in index but why would they show them to people is it's missing?
PSS: Does MSN ever bring traffic?:) Except ref-spam?
I really don't get your message but ... I do have some of the old URLs still in index but, for first time in 3 months, I have the new URLs and I get traffic from MSN.
PS:I don't think they manually fixed this for my site :) so it must be a fix they finally got running.
@SearchCommander: PM me with your domain that has problems.
Backlinks are also major issue with MSN now. If you got anything fishy ... they just ignore sites.
They hardly index anything 'dirty' nowadays.
PS: It would be cool to have this fix done just for my site :) but I really don't think it's the case...
One legit reason they yould need your CC would be to ensure you only sign up once. You can have 1000s of verifiable email accounts but no that many CCs.
I was checking out several sites and found many backlinks in Pligg which do not show up (they had domain as anchor text so I could find them). I noticed all were 301ed through an internal file.
Some Installations of Pligg, unlike Sphinn which links directly, send links using 301 redirects, so they can keep traffic count. The internally rerouted links are not visible in Yahoo hence this article ;)

There's a saying: no such thing as bad publicity and this submitter might also be A Friend of Richy Rich submitting an 'against' story. It's like that guys comment that made other hunderds of lamers post on this fraud's page strike back in defense of their GURU!
The problem is, Rich, you can 'spam' me with as many free writings as you wish. I'll never buy your sheet ... even if it's free!

I first looked at your submit count and saw just one and that triggered my comment.
I don't like magical money making gurus. It's all about hard work and those who say different lie to you and are after your money giving nothing in return. It's all work and no hype. But the sad thing is this Guru's have so many followers ... it's amazing and unpexplainable to me!
@Gab: If you receive his emails (I read a lot of hype emails for entertainment purposes from all the 'GURUs') you will notice that, yes, it's a 99% probability for him to be the one behind this. If you read between the lines you will notice this kind of thinking on his behalf.
Like the guy who posted against him on his blog few days back and everyone charged to defend him, It's hype and I'm not sure that guy is not one of his also just to create the Buzz he needed even if his message was right on.
This guy is like the young businessmen teaching us about business but whose empires were built by their parents or back in the days when there was no competition and now their employees do everything and they preach!
These are the kind of guyz that would go any length to trick people into buying. It's all mind games Gab and always hope for the best but prepare for the worst!
Do not overrate the Sphinn community. I'm no KA (Kiss A$$) and I will go ahead saying some here won't fall for these tricks but most will especially when these cons are endorsed by some high end bloggers (they know who they are) :) And if all his documents are on time management you could buy a book from Amazon... better written and cheaper.
PS: I also don't like that guy's sales-agent-like cunning superior smile saying: I feel you little one but I will make you big! Pay me!.
It's enough to show me his photo to get a strong feeling of rejection towards his persona.
If he wants to vote for videos he should have his followers vote on his site. His people can code a voting script ... huh? I'll give him one free if he can't afford it!

Has only about 5000 pages non supplemental.
The page count is intimidating but supplemental index swallowed it almost completely.
PS: Google loves such sites. Makes index size look good but they reside in supplemental hell.
And rumour has it big changes go down on the index these days. Might just be a glitch in the Matrix.

I also read quite recently of several (many) GMail break-ins and desperate people compaint how their entire contacts database were stored in GMail and how their business was going down the drain and how they had no offline backups and how important emails were left unreplied.
Really entertaining for me how people can rely with all their sensitive commercial information on a FREE web service. There's OUTLOOK ... you know?
