Great post, you really know what you are talking about. This is right up the alley of people who think SEO should cost less than their web design.
I'd say the more pages you have indexed the harder it becomes for new pages to get indexed. Not all pages get indexed if Google thinks it's just repeating what has been said many times. Throw some links at it.
My guess is they are a premium publisher as they are allowed to customize the ads.

Thanks for this I have a couple slow loading sites. I went to staples and asked for their easy button but apparently it's just a gimmick.
I should also add that blogtrench.blogspot is not mine nor do I know who owns it, it was just in the top 10 on Digg yesterday.

This "F" story was on the homepage of digg yesterday and I thought it was good proof of why the "F" format always works well on adsense. Nice sleuth work though.
