Until I got to the 404 redirect, my thougths were that these were not unfair advantages, but rather how to take FULL advantage. Thanks
The purpose of my post was to share with other professionals something that I am sure they have dealt with. If not in the same fashion, at least in some respect. There are always going to be clients who disagree with, or don't understand your methods.
As PPC professionals, we work with ad text and landing pages everyday. We know what works, and we know what doesn't work - or at least we have a pretty good idea. When we're not sure what is going to work, we need to test. Test ad creative, test landing pages. Test test test. If the client doesn't give us the freedom to implement tactics that we have seen work - then they tie our hands and we fail.
I find it ironic to have been dinged as unprofessional by being publicly 'outed' on Sphinn. Strikes me as professional. I appreciate your putting my post up on Sphinn though ... thanks
I took one of the cooler pens I got on the expo floor into a session, proceeded to write with it, only to have the click button shoot off into the row ahead of me. Cheap pens - quick launch to the trash bin. I had another pen fall apart in my schwag bag on the way home.
...and for the record, he does have a kid. But remember, he didn't get to go to the conference and Stoney wasn't sharing his schwag ...
Back in the office, we found part of the pen that fell apart in my bag. I think I threw the pen away at home, so how the spare part from the pen ended up under the pool table, is beyond me.
