I'm with Julie. 99% of industry blogs sound like an echo chamber.
No surprises, but they pulled my bids on arbitrage keywords, too. While of course, they continue to run ads for smut, miracle cancer cures, get rich quick nonsense, you name it.
What a genius ruse. Met a couple of EB's online team last year. Seemed like bright cookies.
Give the person/people responsible a pay on the back and a suitable pay rise!

Am I missing something? Google have disallowed phoney domains as display URLs for as long as I've been using AdWords:
"The display URL doesn't need to be the exact same as your destination URL, but it should be an actual URL that is part of your site."
Jeez... I thought for a moment G were going to challenge Yahoo in the "prepostorous PPC rules" stakes and disallow legit redirects.
Hmm... to be fair, none of the other threads on the subject were showing when on upcoming/what's new/search when I posted it an hour after Nick.
I posted this on WMW a few months back. As an experiment, I tried broad matching keywords like: buy gifts uk. The keywords were broad matched to searches like:
americans in uk
buy runescape items
aikido uk
calculators for sale
cheap number plates
japanese restaurant brighton
paperweights for sale
yorkshire souvenirs
It is a shambles.

Great idea. Shame they don't they don't have the foresight to give it away free and clean up with a storm of freebie backlinks.
