Story: My Twitter Wish List
You bring up some great points Doc, and I enjoyed the post.
I do think there is a time and a place to include a url in the the title. (not for self promotion though)
Awesome job!
"Being an active observer is the single smartest thing you can do when it comes to social media success." - great summary!
I agree with Lisa...I have stopped following many users for their constant stream of self-promotional blog tweeting! I am sure I am not the only one??
Too much noise, will force your audience to take the headphones off!

Love the title....
Everyone has diff. opinions, likes and dislikes -- that's what makes us all great.
I personally enjoy using Twitter as an additional communication tool, not only sending out info, but more importantly 'listening' to the conversations that are occurring, with the people I choose to follow.
I see it as a giant chat room or cocktail party, where I can hear what the 'buzz' is for that day. Granted there may be some days that have a higher noise ratio. I don't mind that. I consider it to be part of the quirkiness of the network. Passing over a tweet I find useless is like overlooking a feed in my rss reader....on to the next one.
I have been exposed to many great stories, blog posts, and people that I otherwise may not have been.
Thank you Twitter! :)
This would have been much better announcement from Jay:
"We are proud to announce, Social Icon 'Digg' is currently involved in a heated bidding war between technology giants Google and Microsoft." "Kevin and I are currently shopping a deal to buy Belize with our profits....stay tuned"
Isn't it all about transparency these days?
Very cool - almost like google trends
Sphinn -692
Hilary - 5,640
Clinton - 25,300
Barack -67,500
Obama -118,000
Hmmmm??
"competitive poo slinging" is the only way I am able to learn!! Good luck...
Looks like him.....it is him!!
Series was cancelled, SEO is his 'fallback' career!
Does this detract from having your most important keyword(s) secondary in the tag?

@Matt - "In-N-Out Burger" - I guess if I did not live in Cali, that would be very high on my to-do list too!!
See you all at the bar! ;)
