Neither sphinning nor desphinning but I'll say that it's possible to mistake privilege for a right from the inside of privilege and that's what I think is happening here.
I'm not sure I understand the purpose of the copy/paste URL at the bottom. It's just Lisa's coverage with a bunch of spam about anonymous email dumped in.
We use link magnet as something entirely different than link bait. Link bait is usually short term, designed to catch attention but not necessarily quality traffic or links. Link magnets are more targeted and attracted simply by virtue of their existence and usefulness, links that are relevant to your page.
We consider the Search Engine Relationship Chart a link magnet. People link to it because it's useful, not because it's baiting anyone.
Both link bait and link magnets have their place, but I think they're serving different masters.
I feel like I should point out that Lisa's the one who wrote the entry not Bruce but this is too funny to correct.
Not so, Simon! I kicked Bloglines to the curb long ago. Google Reader is my one true love. ;)
Mike's continuing to update as we get feedback. You can check the comments section of the blog post for more.
jfj3rd, would you mind sharing how you're formulating that search? We're not seeing any supplemental results for her site using this query: [-site:tutoring911.com/* site:tutoring911.com/]
