This is a good article. If I may add something that could prove useful? There is one storytelling formula to which every human on the planet responds automatically. It is encoded into our consciousness and into our DNA.
When you use this formula in your website copy and other communications, it touches people on a deep emotional level that is primal.
This formula came from decades of research into all the great mythic and spiritual traditions of the world, and it is just as true for anyone using the internet as it is for someone who has never seen what we would call "civilization."
The formula demonstrates the path of life from the call to adventure through a road of trials and tribulations, to the ultimate awakening to the hero within you.
This is the Hero's Journey that noted mythologist Joseph Campbel identified. I teach my clients that you magnetize people to you when you make your customer the hero for doing business with you because they are able to achieve something.
