WebGuerrilla
I'm stunned that this is even considered a story. So Trulia provides Seattle Weekly a branded copy of content found somewhere else on their site. And then they tell Google not to index that duplicate copy, but instaead point them to where the orignal copy exists.
And that's considered evil blackhat? Are you kidding me? If that's your take on it, you obviously have never worked with duplication issues of the size and scope of a site like Trulia. That kind of technique is used all the time with large sites. The only thing remotely news worthy about the story is the fact that Trulia was retarded enough to rely on UA.
Claiming to be an SEO without knowing who Tedster is is like being a baseball fan who's never heard of Babe Ruth.
I don't think your DMV friend will be much help. Every plate on the list is still available. (At least they were when I made them up. :)
There might be a couple that I'll accept multiple answers for. Especially CMEPUKE. Even though I made that one for a specific person , there are certainly several people that could use that plate. :)
You should listen to what Andy says. Anyone who thinks the existence of onclick in a link automatically stops the flow of juice without any human intervention is smoking crack.
