Wingnut
@Brickmarketing If it does it will be rad - either way we are going to have a very interesting statistics filled blog post to write after :)
@yojpotter @crazycat - The hope is that since the reach of social media is so vast that eventually (if people spread the word and posted/voted for this everywhere) that eventually someone who did know this person, or the person himself, would see it - There is no set time limit for this... Just thought it would be interesting :)
@Toddmintz Well, you know I like to give back to the community :D
This is not anti-homeless it is pro-SEO
@mvandemar Part 2 is free SEO for the Amish
@Onreact The peice wasn't meant as disrespectful but it has been interesting that people either love it or hate it. I suppose living/working in areas where you get harrassed by someone asking for money 4-9 times when just walking 5 blocks and then cursed at/threatened when you say you don't have any cash has jaded me.
@Skitzzo and @anyone who wants to leave comments degrading my character - Please send me an AIM message - My name on there is NimbusDave - We can talk it out and I can hear all of why you are offended and we can open a dialog about it.
I'd rather discuss this with you rather than leaving snarky comments back and forth.
Thanks.
@skitzzo Yes, comments are for discussing the submission. Discussing the submission is one thing while insulting the Author is another. "I did/didn't like the article, here's why" compared to "Wingnut you're a biggot and you should die." I'd rather the second not spam the comments is all.
http://googlefight.com/ if you just see the fight and not read anything ;)
Also sphunn for the content of the article... Always cool when someone puts you in their book. Grats to TopRank
I switched jobs and now am not going to get to go :( I require at least one of you to pour one out for all your homies who couldn't be there... :D
@aaronpaul I think that fame in SEO is really about other SEO's knowing and likeing you. With this kind of fame comes bonuses - getting insider tips learning from people who have been in the business much longer than you.
It's just cool stuff - who knows, you may even get freelance work floated your way because one of these other famous SEO's has to much, or thinks your great or want to help you out.
@Esteban I've been very impressed with your writing and rise through the sphinn ranks... Keep up the great work! :D

I also have the fatal error message with new sphinns... I like how you can see who desphunn though

I wish I could meet the person who sold this to Jawbone and told them it would be good PR and exposure - This guy has got to be the best BSer alive...
@nickycakes - good point
I actually feel bad when I submit one of my favorite bloggers posts - I'm not that well known and it almost feels like a dis-service to them by not submitting it themselves.
I submit mostly news articles and my own stuff
I actually get less work done when twitter is down... a lot of the great things I read all day come from it - Twitter being down hurts my learning... not to mention I keep hitting the refresh button every so often in hopes of it being up.
@SisterSledge hmm, I've been having server issues lately... probably time to upgrade to that $7 godaddy hosting :P
Also I don't think it's that hard to reach out anymore - even shy people can say Hello when it's all done behind the computer... If I didn't have all the connections I have made from social media sites - This story probably would have dissapeared.
I really wish I knew more about this kind of stuff. Learning... Learning.
