ZNicola
I have a few clients that love their MSN traffic, I just don't have the heart to tell them it's just a robot.
I understand her posting her article on SEOmoz, but does it really need to be sphunn?
Did it get dugg as well, and stumbled too?
Rebecca, I know getting spammed sucks. I've always told my clients, the more spam you get, the better you are doing. I'd say the same goes for you, and Tamar for that matter. ;)
I like to see people step up and be honest. I also like to see facts behind the topic...
The "making enemies" part I'm not so sure about. While it's nice having friends in the industry,
Danny, Rand, Matt, Jill, Michael and many others are not who emplyoe me, nor do I seek business from them. The real reputaion that matters is how good are you at what you say you can do.
If Danny wrote something that I didn't agree with, I would investigate it further, make sure my opinion is sound, and then post my findings.
If I'm right or wrong, I still learn something of value, and I would think some respect as well.
A disagrement is fine, its the manner in which you bring it up.
Story: Got SEP? « Nice, Smile
The SEP acro was one that a client of mine asked me about. I would guess that someone trying to sell him on their services threw the pretty phrase at him.
I'm glad that the two of you see it in the same light, a bad and evil dark light, but not purple, just dark.
Honestly... Is there any other company out there that you would be comfortable with winning the bid other than Google?
Who would vote for if you had the power to choose who gets the deal?
Google's got my vote.
At the same time, I think negative attention serves its purpose on a blog as well. Having the local idiot, or the one guy everyone love to hate, can help make your blog a place people frequent more often.
