I'd ask:
- Are you going to keep playing the UI and grab 2nd and 3rd click data (and revenues)?
- Is the searchbox within search results really helps the user or mostly helps you collect search intentions outside the google network?
- What types of data can we expect to see in the future (near and far) search results? Trading platforms? user DOCS and CRM data? Full IYP? Bank status? Vertical info? Shared search/products results from friends? Full google browser with personalized aggregatores, services and filters? will regular search always have a minimum of 8 organic results? 7? 5?
Kudos to 4Eyes & Serious for a great event, much appreciated, we had a wonderful time!
Story: "The DMOZ mob strikes again"
Looks like some DMOZ editors decided to take the dirty laundry outside. Read the comments...
My daughter got her domain (+photo-blog) right after we picked her name, same day she was born.
Too bad she got tired from the Comment Spam bots and now she requires a user/password login... ;-)

Just treat those files as regular web pages, why not block them with login/cookie or deny crawlability?
This coin got two sides - the value of links...
