I don't think starting a search engine now would be a great business idea.
Shoemoney is an SEO to some degree whether he likes the label or not. His famous Adsense cheque was all achieved through SEO, he said.
I think he has still got dozens of sites which are being promoted on Google. A lot of his SEO bashing statements are being said for publicity and links.
@Squishee: I'm sorry you didn't see any vlaue in the post, while creating the post I found loads of blogs which offer great info.
Maybe if you went through the list you might discover something which you havent seen before?
I think that "Pre teen nude girls" are pre teenage age. Hence the "illegal" element.
Also, I started the title with "Digg Error" - Hence, Digg is not intentionally promoting rather, sending traffic unknowingly.
It's an observation that I published, nothing more.

A nice idea but who's going to leave Google for $1000 when we're making $1000's a day.
