Remember, Quality rules over quantity, but you MUST help others in this industry if you wish to make it. I know these facts, for I am only 3 years into the world of SEO and pretty much 6 months into the world of the SEO community. Help your customers and make sure they succeed at all costs -- That is an excellent add-on to that, but that is for the actual ASPECT of SEO and the work and expertise you show -- As for the aspect of the community...I tried to make this list as comprehensive and fluid as possible. You can group with others, you can contribute and you can compile -- After that, you have a name, you have a reputation -- You have clients, you have more of a reputation in the business world combined with your SEO community reputation.

Thanks for the valuable input -- I'll be sure to add that and most of the comments on the blog to this area when I go to create the 10 Tips to Becoming the SEO Expert AFTER Making it in the Community.
