Is sphinn really hard off for good articles??
this story is older than my 5 year old nephew!
Pittfall
I did the same, no backlinks showing up from Google
Google doesn't show the link love
Story: Sphinn is really slow :(
indeed, Danny wrote a story about it 3 or 4 months back, but com'n guys....
Story: Google Walks the Plank
maybe I'm just being a little too wary of the decreasing AdSense profits and being frustrated with the continual need to change marketing strategies and plans......ugh
I've had far better articles that have NOT gone hot...geez
first off though, I can think of at least 25 reasons why you SHOULD use Wordpress, and that's just off the top of my head.
some great tips there.
some are tips are that I simply over look on some of my sites. I need to go through and add some of these tips.
I was happy to nofollow all wiipedia links.
http://whatjapanthinks.com/wikipedia-nofollow/
And on top of that, why I also think Google Search Sucks.
It's becomign tougher and tougher to find Google as relevant and useful :(
Tear it apart, I'd love your guys' feedback
hmmm I'm actually kind of wondering what the point of it was......
(I'm still waiting to laugh :( )
I don't think that has much or anything to do with being an SEO.
It has to do with being a web designer really. CSS is purely for visual effects and is almost completely irrelevant to SEO (in my opinion.)
Story: Vanessa Fox Leaving Zillow
Vanessa, simply put, you're amazing.
You totally rock.
Hmmm wait...Google has a social network? :)
Myspace doesn't really count in my view anymore...it has been and always will be a load of crap. Facebook is the future of social networking imo.
weight, lbs, ounces, authority like Apache, it'd be nice to have still.
it probably does pass less though, I agree with you.
Ironically, I cut my feeds from full to partial and my subscriber count went up AND my reach showed quite a bit of growth.
It's been good for my site to move to partial.
Relevant or not, but still, my 2 cents.
link building is essential for any blog (unless you're already famous)
Sam,
Quite the opposite though. Google stated that nofollow was created in 2005 for the sole purpose of fighting spam.
one of my sites finally got SiteLinks, but I have no idea which keyword they're being used for...joy.
I never even signed up for an account with them, just looks like another waste of time.
less competition for the other good PPC biz's out there now :)
Story: Matt Cutts is a Robot
Matt has been speaking around the world on "paid links are evil!" and then he concludes with "paid links are still evil!" but I have yet to see Google actually lay down the law on every single site that sells links.
They have been very selective on which sites they penalize. Some sites do get penalized, others don't.
What's the deal with that. Seriuosly.
Story: Matt Cutts is a Robot
Google is not the government.
Webmasters need to stop allowing Google to control what they do. I'm just sick of Google trying to be the "bully" in the search industry by going out and penalizing sites. It's stupid.
The fact that I even wrote the article is stupid. There's no reason paid links should be an issue.
Story: Matt Cutts is a Robot
Here's the latest from Matt, seems he's not such a bad guy after all ;)
Story: Eight Site Links in Google
yeah, I've been seeing this lately, another "improvement" from Google...*eyes roll*
