Here is another article from the New York Times with similar reports of China blocking news regarding protests in Nepal and Tibet:

"The Chinese government is restricting foreign journalists from entering Tibet and neighboring areas, and blocking some news, video and Internet reports about the protests there from appearing inside China, according to journalists working here..."

As a consultant you have to know what keeps you juiced each day to go to work. For me, it's the long-standing relationships that I have with my small business clients and my ability to see the positive changes that I have made in their businesses over time. There are small business owners who are willing to invest in quality work. By focusing on a niche market that we can serve well because of our expertise, we've createed a network of clients that supports us on a level that works for us. Being very clear about what type of clients you can (and cannot) serve well helps to save a lot of headaches when working with small businesses. We turn down work that is not a good match for our skill sets. I wish we had done this right from the start in 1995, but as the saying goes: you pay your tuition in the school of life one way or another.

I am all for fact-checking an article before publishing, but to suggest that Sphinn is ONLY bringing up the question of the Chinese government's interference to access to information regarding His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the plight of the Tibetan people online for SPIN purposes is a slap in the face to those Tibetans who have experienced suppression from the Chinese government. It is really a BAD SITUATION, actually a heart-breaking one if you know personally anyone involved, in Tibet. So, no matter if this report is true or not true - demonstrate some compasson for the 6 million + Tibetans who have lost their lives, their country, their right to be Tibetans and face massive oppression from the Chinese government and moderate your comments to suggest that SPHINN is only publishing this because they want hype  and/or are smoking dope. More fact-checking is in order before we draw firm conclusions, but I am glad that the Tibetan people get any notice at all from the international community because this has saved lives! So, yes, let's investigate further to know the truth, but show some basic good-natured wiliingness to delay your judgement of SPHINN until more data is available.

Here's some fact-checking: It's estimated that 1.2 million Tibetans, one-fifth of the country's population, died as a result of China's policies since 1959, according to an estimate by the Tibetan government in exile. So, it's not 6 + million, but it's still a regretfully large percentage of the Tibetan population.

@ Sem-Advance

Thanks for clarifying your point further. I found the tone of your original post confusing and I appreciate your follow-up even if this story is dead in the water.
