@BrentCsutoras everyone knows what is happening with Digg. This is merely a confirmation and hardly qualifies for your SFTUP series. The only time one would regret sharing his knowledge is if exposing that knowledge will have a negative impact. How does publishing this interview hurt the top Digg user? He actually made money by conducting the interview, we got decent traffic and links from it, and everyone wins!
I was confused about that as well. Either Yahoo is completely incorrect or there is something I don't understand
@Halfdeck I should have thought of using Google page count but completely slipped my mind. I would probably do that in the future.
@boorishamerican there is a lot of littarature out there on the benefits of AB vs. Multi-variant or testing in general. I think the biggest problem with conversion optimization starts when clients think that conversion optimization is all about testing. Testing is an important component of conversion optimization but should constitute all the effort.
I can say that we only had one client who had an initial drop of around 10% in conversion rates out of close to 30 clients in the last two years. Not a bad deal if you ask me :)
@iBrian I am running a small test campaign with 250 visitors per day. I have seen consistant results each day for the last 6 days give or take 2% up or down
I usually shy away from writing reviews. But the time savings the tool gave me made me feel obligated to share it with the rest of the community as a way to say thank you.
Story: The $350/hour SEO expert
@Jill, standard contarct with this client is for 2000 hours. Something close to full time employment.
A very good read. I think it address the question of who is an seo. So many people put up a website and became an "SEO expert". Todd has a good perspective on that.
