Yeah, I posted a transcript online of my attempt to cancel AOL more than 7 years ago! Too bad I didn't think about recording it and too bad social media wasn't big back then. But, there's always new opportunities out there just waiting to be discovered.
As for the article, I also thought it was insightful to see how some of those people attained their success online.

Great article. I think your tactics about "how" to go friending is very good, but the major epiphany I had from your title was that "friends" are what make social networking go 'round.
I mean, it IS social networking and that should mean "friends", but I think that part of the point gets overlooked sometimes. I know it never really hit me until just now. I hope that doesn't mean I'm dense! hah.
The main problem I find with social networking sites in regards to friending is that it takes so much time to devote even to just one social media site. There are more than a hundred now. So, it seems necessary to pick and choose upon which sites to focus. Hopefully, though, I will find that friends made on one site will also be friends on another and another.
Anyway, I digress. Thanks for the insightful article!

Ha. Good article. I never did find the time to figure out what stop words were all about, and now I suppose it didn't matter. :)
Besides, I never write for the search engines and always recommend to clients that they write naturally anyway. The only effect search engines have on my writing style is that I might substitute a pronoun with a proper noun such as "it" for "Search Engine" -as long as the noun isn't overused to the point of sounding funny to the reader.
Anyway, good article and glad to know that I don't have to worry about stop words!
