Looks like 2006, 2007 pages didn't get the smack down and are still ranking for web 2.0 awards 2006/2007.
Yeah I used the sphinn button right on marty's site so I dunno what went wrong. I was doing it from my iphone and didn't get to check it. but unforunately it wont let me edit url.
me = @martinbowling
thought I should comment since I made the call to action :)
That is the only way to do it DoshDosh :) I need to spend more time building up some accounts to power user status :)
great tips, forwared this one on to the rest of my crew so they could review!
I personally think this was sphinn worthy - I found the article very helpful and passed it on to some of the writers we work with so that I don't have to go back and rewrite the release they can use this to show them how to write an optimized press release. DoshDosh has never contributed anything but solid articles.I stand by my sphinn.
DoshDosh you have been on fire today with the great links, keep em coming :)
I love it when a SEO Snake Oil salesmen get's caught up in some creative search terms :)
Twitter is fast becoming one of my favorite addictions :) Twitter is great for staying up to date on information and for promoting your own stories. I see a bright future for twitter :)
Yes this one is for sure a bookmarker! This post was great - read on it all day long. Thanks again Sugar Rae!
This is an incredible idea - and really didn't think that a credit card company would come up with something so creative. But wonder who is gonna be the big bad guy who comes in and buys up all rights to the business plans posted :)
@IncrediBILL for a spammer they would want to do this only for highly competitive terms; cause for them it's all about the money. As illustrated this only works with low volume searches. In addition they would need to have some authority on the domain with a history of incoming links for google to respond in the same manner. I think that Tim didn't really expose anything that wasn't already known by most. I think it was a great read and a wonderful examination of what went down.
Great article man, being trying to get this new client of ours to think and focus more on their internal seo. Now I have a good example to show them. Thanks!
looks like all is well now apologies issued and the repair process now begins :)
i love the twitter concept, we are currently working with a school to improve their recruitment and got them to utilize twitter to give potential students a glimpse inside the life of a student at their school. More people should embrace the Tweet!
I just created my linkedin profile in december and haven't really done anything with it. This post inspired me to actually do something with it. Really opened my eyes to the value of my own linkedin profile.
Story: Local SEO 2008 Predictions
Andrew did a great job with this article. I have had more and more clients realize that local seo is where they need to be focusing. I have started seeing the 'little' guy business's in our area really start to take an interest in SEO and improve their organic rankings. I think that most of Andrew's predictions will hold true, especially the one about video - more of our clients are producing videos and using them as a traffic and brand builder. Great as always Andrew!
Yeah that's the problem with social media not getting sucked in - i am printing this out and pinning it to the wall. It serves as a great how-to for trying to mix social media in with the everyday business tasks. Thanks Derek!
A great intro post to social media, this is going to be one to show to new clients so they can familarize themselves with how to manage the social media marketing campaigns we help them start.
you are probably right it is a very broad stroke on a complex issue and issue that does deserve much more time, I just think that google was linkbaiting but I could be wrong. Thanks for taking the time to comment really apprecaite it.
Well i personally think this was Google OS's linkbait and we all took it :)
