This post could not have come at a better time. After spending years branding other peoples services and products, it is time to brand ME.
I definately agree with the points made in the blog. Identifying your personality, strengths, and resources is important to concentrate your branding efforts on. Once you uncover your SWOT you can then focus on why you are a relevant source to assist in the cause. - Peter Leshaw
PageRank sculpting is something that I would like to learn more about. I do like that the first thing that the author says is that PR sculpting can "maybe" help your site and that it is important to understand a few things first before you move further. - Peter Leshaw
So much to do and so little time. I hope that everyone takes note to the first thing on the list of to dos to fix your site.
CONTENT, CONTENT, CONTENT.
Content is King on the Internet. Wouldn't you want to open your lemonade stand on the corner of 1st and Main Street? The only way to get visibiity to your site is to have it be seen. Content is the reason why someone finds your site and then decides to purchase your products or services.
This is a great ROI excersize. I am a fan of longtail keywords as they tend to have much lower cpc's and above all, and over time, long tails can generate more traffic from your main 1-3 keyword terms.
More about sculpting PageRank and how it can't hurt. Not considered Blackhat marketing. Googlers don't prohibit the practice. - Peter Leshaw
