Make sure to lock the barn door after all the horses escape. It reminds me of the gov bailing the banks after all the money is gone. How about having regulations in place to prevent disaster.
An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. In the case of Digg, I should create a parody site callled SPaaamm.
Remember Shrapnel from the TV series Transformers who always repeated the last word; well we repeat the last letter. "I feel a certain kinship, kinship."
Back in the early 90's before Google even existed as a dream. I was paying websites to link to me. To get
1) Traffic
2) Exposure
3) Buzz
Now Google comes along and says that all links have to be no-follow. That reminds me of the gov making shorting stocks illegal instead of going after the bankers that stole all the money and which we the taxpayer have to bail out.
Google hates SEO. They see us as the enemy. Well, I was doing SEO before Google ever existed. They are like a blight on the internet. Most of Youtube is stolen content. Yesterday I saw one of my videos on Youtube that somebody stole.
We be kickin' it ol skool with our new strategy. Well, circa 1990 text was in and content was king.
Here is a great tip. If you are position one for a long tail keyword with no competition you can add sales by buying Google adwords. Try it. It increases your exposure. Think of it as a big billboard where you can promote sales.
This is usually when your host shuts you down. The contract says 15 terabytes and you only used 100 gigs, but the host claims "Excessive use of bandwidth"
Lets see 100 gig X 30 days = 3,000 gigs, much less than the 15,000 gigs of bandwidth you are permitted.
You call them up and they say "We can let one person hog our server". Yes you heard right, singular, server, they have one server. That pretty photograph of a large data center humming with activity is a stock photo.
Not to mention that they keywords they did generated for me were Yugos ie CARbage! I mean they claim to know which keywords the competition uses, but could not even get right which Google Adwords I pay money for, or how much money.
I made my blog dofollow and hope more people will follow the dofollow trend. Let us spread the link love. peace out.
I signed up for easylinktrade. Thanks for the information. BTW, I am the only person in the SEO section. :)
You did the right thing, because I was helping a friend do SEO. His top seller item was position three on Google (for the main high traffic keyword) and after an extensive SEO campaign, I got him up to position two. He went from making $50,000/mo profit to making $300,000/mo in profit. He had to double his warehouse space and quadruple his workforce. I charged him $65,000 and he only paid me $53,000. He was mad "cuz he ain't on position one."
He said "Why don't ya call google up? Yeah, tell them we need to be on position one!" :)
I use the free community edition of Noiseware to remove noise from pics. It has many settings to remove stray pixels and chroma noise.
The problem is that when you are small, like me. Big SEO bullies will come an desphinn your link, or worse claim it is spam. This biz is very nasty.
Linkbait, you mean like an article saying "Bigfoot boards UFO" It would probably make the front page of Digg. :)
As I have said before. It is the power bloggers that run the show. Sadly, most are very busy these days. However, it might be doable to reach 3rd tier bloggers.
This is plus max advice bro! Especially the part about the bounce rate, this will affect SEO ranking and sales. Please add a tip about using ALT TEXT on pictures since many visitors find a site through Google Image Search.
Story: List Link Bait = Overdone
I see a lot of spam on sphinn. There is hair transplant, catalina resort, texas holdem casino, and the list goes on. Not sure if this is link bait.
Story: How the SEO Bubble Will Pop
Getting rid of seo is like getting rid of acne, an impossible dream. Things look like they are getting ready to pop!
Well, the aswer is no, but I can't afford the heavy hitters. It is like writing copy. The pros are real expensive, so I have to write my own copy an make do with a lower percent conversion.
I know a lady who is a prominent book author. She noticed that she was getting a lot of bad reviews on amazon. This can cause sales to drop and it did. However the nasties hit her latest book before she even sold a single copy with generic comments like "This book is the worst I have ever read bar none!", "Don't waste your money on this trash pile!", "I am asking for a refund!"
Funny considering that she has not sold a single copy. Her solution was to pull her book from amazon and the bad reviews disappeared.
How can sonebody claim it is the worst book ever if they never read it? Perhaps they are a clairvoyant psychic?
Actually, there is a lot more work in Miami than Chicago, plus Florida has many more large cities like - Jacksonville, Tampa, and Orlando. That said states like Arkansas and Alabama have very little talent or work. Rust belt has some talent, but very little work.
Also, use guest bloggers to liven up the place. There should be a guest-bloggers-r-us.com website to find a new view for the blog. Thanks for the advice!
The no follow is used for paid links, but a search engine that ignores it might make using no-follow less value for the site owner.
So far Google finds WALL-E without trouble and the context sensitive ads are for movies, not WALLpaper. Google is getting better. Still has a problem with "Bill Gates" you get ads for credit cards and loan consolidation! :)
