But sinse he isn't selling me anything, I'm ok without seeing them. These are free tips and I can tak'em or leave'em, as I please.

Hey Brandong,
Thanks :)
I thought that made perfect sense, too. In the end it's all about the traffic.

I think it's more than that, in Mert's case, he decided to give us all something, so there we are paying him back.

Hey Sam,
I'm a huge fan of the Kiyosakis, so I completely understand what you're talking about. However, none has to do with the other!

Joel Comm is not a person, in the business sense. He's a corporation, generating so much money, that he can definitely claim to a passive income and then some. Starak, is a one-man business, who has managed to obtain a stable income from his on line ventures.

As you are probably familiar with Kiyosaki's  quadrant diagram, you know that Comm is a business owner, while Starak is self employed. Neither is lying, they just both speak from within their  own realities. From my experience, at this point, most of the more famed marketers are the ones that don't bullshit (the other ones have been called out way before they reached a famed status). I hate sales letters as much as the next person, but these guys know their shit, as they talk from experience.

So what do I do when their sending mixed signals? Think positive: As far as I'm concerned, it is possible to make a passive income, because that's my goal. I hope it is yours, too, because that's the only way to live and enjoy it! :)

That's a great point, Baiduyou.
But I still have to wonder about how generic the salesletter was. Would you really trust the product to deliver? Also, a colleague of mine made a good point, the other day: he asked how many people are doing video, compared to how many people are trying to make it online? What do you think?

I sure hope you do! These sales letters are driving me crazy. I get tons of them, as research for my blog, there is almost nothing new under the sun. And when someone does have an actual epiphany, you get the feeling, you've heard it all before. Have you seen of Rich Schefren's last maneuver? Check it out- it's good for a laugh:

Excellent analogy! You hit the nail right on the head. It's great to read some profound writing in the field of internet marketing.
Thank you,
