Hmm not really sure what skewed results you're talking about. It works exactly how I described it... I'm sure you could submit some feedback for them to include other search engines and other languages that you desire. But it's definitely pretty useful.
Hmm I guess I should have specified it was English only. Perhaps you could go ahead and make your own version of the tool to suffice your needs.
I actually was pondering the idea for a people search service similar to these a year or so ago. Now there's 6 solid services in the space but I still think there's room for improvement. Even though all the data accumulated is publicly available on the Internet, I imagine there will be some privacy concerns once these sites get big enough. It's kinda freaky being able to type in a random person's name and instantly getting back all their info. People Search - Stalking Made Easy. :)
Yup! It's nuts how fast Google is getting these days. I'm waiting for the day when its indexing and displaying SERPs in realtime.
Good post, I was thinking the same thing. As stated already by Sphinners above, I think once the community grows then it will all level out. Love the concept of the site and looking forward to seeing how it all works out.
